From My World

I have watched your from my world

As you travel through yours
I have always loved you
But you never saw me
I have watched you fall in love with others
But I refused to break down
I have haunted you in your dreams
But still you don't see me

Memory

This is dedicated in memory of a friend who died in a fire. May she rise again as a Pheonix rises from the ashes

She clasps the bracelet that once stood for friendship
And remembers why it doesn't anymore
She holds on tight and tries to move on
But she can't the memory returns
She sees her friend's smile, laugh and face
Her Beauty, her charm and her grace
Then she remembers...

The glossy white casket, the church organ

The sound of the Holy Water splashing...
She tries to forget the past
Her friend is gone...
She must move on

Dreams

Dreams are inescapable
No matter how you try

Forever Tarnished

I Dream of a silver river passing through a forest of emeralds
I See a golden sun shining on the ruby meadows
In the distance a city of iron pumps darkness over all
There are no more ruby meadows
I see no river of silver but one of darkness
The forest is no longer emerald
The sun turns to deadly fire
The World is...

Forever Tarnished

Fate

The Walls are getting higher around me
No one will help
I feel it. I'm losing the Battle
But I've already won
I thought the stars will guide me to a higher ground
Trust in fate
She'll guide me to a greater place

Feelings of Contrast

Conflicting feelings. Confound me, surround me
Twisting, Changing, Constantly rearranging
Will I ever retrieve what was lost?
Will I ever find the real me?
I see the future, you're not in it, Not with me
I love you but I don't
I want to grow up but I want to stay young
What is true...

Friends

If friends were gold, I'd be rich
If they left me, I might as well be poor

A friend like you is the best gift ever
You always cared no matter what the mood
I know that any other would have been rude
I hope you never change
Forever Together, We'll always be

Stars

Oh I wish upon the stars
That I will one day be among them
Softly they glow bright... a true white
A beauty unsurpassed by all
Quietly they sing one note in chorus
Not even the highest of sopranos can match
Elegantly they dancer a graceful waltz
No dncer can ever match their grace
Immortal. They never die

How can one compete?
I wish upon the stars

Darkness, Take my Hand

This poem is about a charcter from a story I have read. It was written during my wonderful Statistics Class :)

His eyes are deeper than the ocean
They burn an icy blue fire
I am lost in disillusion
Falling through new realms of desire

His hair is white as silver
His eyelashes black as coal
Yet at his touch I shiver
And his eyes pierce my soul

As moths to the flame
He came into my life
My Light he tried to tame
His voice was a sharp smooth knife

Darkness surrounded me like a veil
Consuming me in a blaze
I hoped for the light to prevail
I hope to survive the final days
